Did you see that I'd been playing Ultima IV recently?
Of course I knew! Where do you think I got the map? I still have a copy of (I think) Ultima V with my alchemy recipes in it from years ago. That's an element it shares with Dragon Quest 8 that I enjoy.
And phases of the moon are significant in those games, so it fits both themes of the post.
