On the other hand, I've always really liked snowmen on Christmas cards. I even have a book, half serious, half humorous, called The History of the Snowman, by Bob Eckstein, on the snowman in history, art, and popular culture. There is, regrettably, a paucity of them in Nanny's cards. You can always tell a Christmas snowman by the holly in his hat.
